Fantastic to see the latest stage in the fabrication and finishing of the Archimedes Waveswing. This innovative piece of kit, designed by AWS Ocean Energy Ltd is currently being finalised in our dedicated fabrication facilities in Renfrew, before being tested and deployed.
The fifty-tonne wave energy converter is designed for offshore wave energy production. This latest wave energy award affirms Malin Newbuild’s place in the renewable market, having previously completed fabrication projects for offshore wind farm development and the design and build of an offshore microgrid buoy for a tidal energy project.
