Medicash is the oldest healthcare cash plan provider in the UK today and also one of the largest, covering over 500,000 policyholders across the UK, both at work and at home. All employees are automaticaly given Level 1 cover. Full details of your new health plan will be included in your policy welcome pack that will be sent to you by Medicash. Note, for any new employees, you will be enrolled in the scheme after you have passed probation.

Employee Assistance Programme
With Medicash you have instant access to expert information and advice on a wide range of issues through their 24-hour telephone advice service. You can get expert advice on topics such as bereavement, debt, money management and health and wellbeing (to name a few) and also have access to 8 face to face counselling sessions.

Car Benefit Scheme
Your Car Benefit Scheme from Tusker is a new way for Malin Group employees to run a car. A fixed monthly amount is taken directly from your gross salary and in return, you get the use of a brand new car. The reduction to your gross salary is made before income tax and National Insurance. In addition to a brand-new car, the scheme also includes:

• Maintenance of the vehicle including all servicing, batteries, exhausts and tyres
• Fully comprehensive motor insurance including all business travel for you
• Annual road tax
• Roadside assistance (homestart & recovery UK & European cover)
• Relief car for when your car is off the road (if selected)
• No deposit

Cycle Scheme
The cycle to work scheme is an employee benefit offered by Malin that enables employees to save money on the cost of a bike and/or cycling accessories. Cycle to work operates as a ‘salary sacrifice’ employee benefit. This means that you agree to give up part of your salary in exchange for a benefit – in this instance the benefit is a bike and/or accessories. The salary sacrifice is taken from your gross salary (before tax) which means that you will pay less Income Tax and National insurance.

Social Events
Malin Group have an active social committee, who organise quarterly events for all staff members – from volunteering opportunities and charity events, to social gatherings (Christmas night out, all staff BBQ etc.) – there are always lots of ways to get involved, meet others and have fun.
