doors open day

Did you know…

  • The North and South Rotundas are B-Listed buildings, built between 1890 and 1895?
  • How about, the fact that the two Rotundas are connected under the River Clyde by a Tunnel, which was opened in 1895?
  • Or the fact that it served as an ice cream parlour for Nardinis as part of the infamous Glasgow Garden Festival in 1988?

Well now is your chance to come and visit this beautiful building as part of Doors Open Day 2023.  We will open our doors and welcome members of the public for tours of the building at 10.30, 12.00 and 13.30 on the 16th and 17th September 2023.

There is no need to book, simply come along to find out more about the full history of the building – as well as undertaking some STEM challenges, and a Lego hunt!

(Please note there will be no access to the tunnels but we do have some cool footage of the tunnels to show you!)

And in the meantime, check out our Malin Young  Engineers
