Intro
Not only do our business units undertake work across the world, but we also have a number of regional sites, to ensure we are on hand to serve our customers needs on a local basis.
001 South Rotunda Headquarters
Headquartered in Glasgow’s historic South Rotunda, Malin Group operates from one of the city’s most distinctive landmarks on the banks of the River Clyde.
Over the decades, this iconic circular building has played many roles in Glasgow’s cultural and scientific story, allowing ease of access across the Clyde for many businesses in the 18th and 19th century. It seems most fitting that today, a company who safely transport cargo across the world for clients, is now headquartered in the same building that allowed safe transportation for the citizens and businesses of Glasgow all those years ago.
Today, the Rotunda stands as a building steeped in history yet re-designed for modern innovation, a living example of engineering innovation… a perfect home for Malin Group.
While many of our teams from Malin Abram , Malin Marine Consultants and Malin Group are based in Glasgow, our footprint extends across the UK with offices in Aberdeen, Leith, Barrow-in-Furness, and Newcastle upon Tyne, reflecting both the scale of our operations and the diversity of the projects and clients we support.

Strategically located on the River Clyde in Old Kilpatrick, the SMTP site offers almost 50 acres of prime development land with direct access to the Clyde’s deep-water channel.
Maritime Supply Chain Development Centre
A core part of the SMTP will be the Maritime Supply Chain Development Centre (MSCDC), which will be delivered through collaboration with University of Strathclyde and West Dunbartonshire Council and forms one of six ambitious projects set to be funded through the Glasgow City Region Investment Zone. The MSCDC will operate as an agile, outcomes-focused SME that accelerates manufacturing supply-chain readiness for defence and maritime programmes.
