Intro
Malin Abram offer clients a full range of vessels, each suited to serve a range of heavy lift and transportation requirements.
Semi-submersible barge
001 - CD01
- Length overall: 137.0m
- Beam: 36.6m
- Depth: 7.6m
- Max submergence depth above deck: 11m
- Dwt on max draught: 21,806 tonnes
- Deck area: 4,200m²
CD01 has already played a critical role in a variety of major projects, including the launch of the Type 26 frigate and Type 31 frigate vessels for BAE Systems, Babcock and the Royal Navy. She has also supported a wide range of operations across the renewables and oil and gas sectors. Thanks to the CD01’s flexible design, the vessel is ideally suited to deep-sea transport of large vessels and structures, while also providing marine infrastructure capabilities for the local market.
G class vessel
002 - AMT Giant
- Length overall: 137.0m
- Beam: 36.0m
- Depth: 8.5m
- Max submergence depth above deck: 8.5m
- Dwt on max draught: 21,000 tonnes
- Deck area: 4,500m²
The AMT Giant, G class vessel, is a heavy-duty marine transport barge designed to support the transportation of large-scale offshore structures, industrial modules and specialist project cargo. Her expansive deck arrangement provides flexibility for engineered load configurations, including the positioning, securing and transportation of oversized and high-value assets.
G class vessel
003 - AMT Goliath
- Length overall: 137.0m
- Beam: 36.0m
- Depth: 8.5m
- Max submergence depth above deck: 8.5m
- Dwt on max draught: 21,000 tonnes
- Deck area: 4,500m²
The AMT Goliath represents the sister G class vessel to the Giant and similarly provides heavy marine transportation capability for oversized and high-weight cargo associated with offshore construction and major infrastructure projects. Her deck configuration enables the accommodation of substantial fabricated structures and specialist equipment, with cargo arrangements engineered around deck loading limits, stability requirements and transport conditions.
C class semi-submersible
004 - AMT Crusader
- Length overall: 122.0m
- Beam: 36.6m
- Depth: 7.6m
- Max submergence depth above deck: 7.0m
- Dwt on max draught: 19,152 tonnes
- Deck area: 4,200m²
The AMT Crusader C class vessel is a semi-submersible deck cargo barge, designed for heavy marine transportation, and featuring a high-strength cargo deck rated at 20 tonnes per square metre, with point-load capability of up to 750 tonnes, subject to approved loading arrangements. Her controlled ballast and submersion systems enable float-on/float-off operations, allowing large floating assets and offshore structures to be loaded and discharged without conventional lifting arrangements.
C class semi-submersible
005 - AMT Challenger
- Length overall: 122.0m
- Beam: 36.6m
- Depth: 7.6m
- Max submergence depth above deck: 7.0m
- Dwt on max draught: 19,152 tonnes
- Deck area: 4,200m²
The AMT Challenger is the sister C class vessel to the Crusader. Equipped with an integrated ballast system incorporating two pumps rated at 1,000m³ per hour each, AMT Challenger supports controlled submersion and float-on and float-off loading operations. Her configuration makes her particularly suited to the movement of large vessels, offshore fabrication modules, subsea structures and renewable energy components, providing a technically capable platform for complex marine transportation projects.
