We can either take a client design or a Malin created design and fabricate the structure with all necessary work processes and inhouse personnel. With production plans, work breakdown structures, inspection and test plans, and certification plans, this will ensure that the project is built both on time and to cost but also commissioned and certified to any required standards or classification for the specific project.

Design support
These skillsets and processes can be tailored to the size and complexity of the design and fabrication project desired. We can provide design support using even the most basic initial specifications for a complex fabrication.
Utilising in-house structural experts and detail designers, our team can take this specification and develop concept and detailed designs before final issue of production drawings for fabrication. At all stages, design reviews will be incorporated to allow clients to view how the design is progressing in line with time, cost and the initial specification.

With the experience and knowledge gained from working with clients such as Scottish Water, where, for example we have carried out the manufacturing, testing and delivery of a large diameter bifurcation shaft steel pipe, we have expanded our facility to now form one of the largest facilities on the West
Coast.
Projects such as the Minesto buoy, a prototype wave turbine machine successfully delivered to the KG5 docks for shipment to Angelsey, and the development of a 22 tonne rotator and 28 tonne upender, specially designed to increase safety and efficiencies, demonstrate our aptitude for innovative, creative
solutions that are bespoke to your needs.
Harnessing established knowledge, techniques and skillsets, gained from years in the oil and gas energy, we have similarly brought innovation to the renewables market. As well as the Minesto buoy, and fabrication of the Archimedes Waveswing for Wave Energy Scotland (WES) and AWS Ocean Energy, we recently completed 26 wind platforms for the Beatrice wind farm, each manufactured, finished and delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.
We also have strong demonstratable experience with defense and nuclear clients, from the load test and delivery of a 70 tonne working submarine platform, to the fabrication, finishing and design of key components for Hinkely Point.
